No More Juice Boxes
The juice box has been a standard for soccer moms to take to every game. In today’s economy it is not only financially straining to buy all those juice boxes but it also environmentally not sound. If you have twenty kids on a soccer team and you by twenty juice boxes, which are not only a huge amount of money spent, but that, are a lot of separate boxes left to be put in the local land fill.
The amount of card board and plastic contained in the juice box can quickly be turned into pounds of trash that can not be recycled if thrown away irresponsibly. There is a simple method of supplying the beverage needed without wasting money or hurting the environment.
All you have to do is simply make the juice at home. By buying a bottle of real fruit juice that is 100% pure, you can mix the juice in a gallon jug by adding water. You can add honey or splenda to give it a more sweet taste and a little corn syrup for thickener. Instead of having the kids use paper cups, you can put them in recycled water bottle or the sports bottles that most kids already have. If you have to use paper or plastic, please recycle by either putting the garbage in the recyclable containers at the field or take the trash home and recycle in your local recycling collection area. Juice boxes will soon be a thing of the past, so start now by making them extinct.
